“When our school lost all cooling ability, we called Chadwick….
“We are a high school with two chillers, and lost all cooling ability three days prior to our school opening. Having not previously worked in our school district, Chadwick started out by troubleshooting each chiller and quickly determined that one unit had not worked in three years and had lost its refrigerant charge. The second unit which had failed the day before had a communications issue with its controller.
Within three hours the controller was replaced and the chiller was back up and running.
As a by-product of this service, Chadwick identified the additional repair work needed on the redundant chiller, made recommendations on system setpoints for energy savings, and identified revisions to the pumping arrangement that would lead to longer life of all equipment involved.”
